Unbelievable! Ferrari and Lamborghini are not primary option of women to buy

Detroit - We may often hear the phrase "car guy" and "chick car" because we like to think that the brand of car has an appeal relating to gender. But recent studies of TrueCar might justify this.

Page of TrueCar.com writte research results revealed that last year, only 6.4 percent of Ferrari buyers are women. While Lamborghini is driven by 7.4 percent of women. TrueCar.com said the results showed that if more men buy a car based on the appearance of a car, while women are more for reasons of practicality.



This research is based on sales data for 8 million cars during the year 2010. Well, the study results if about 60 percent of women chose the Volkswagen Beetle, as their vehicle.

"The study shows that women car buyers are more fuel-efficient vehicles and low maintenance. While the buyer of men instead, they chose to buy vehicle that looks big and muscular, like a big truck. Or choose a vehicle because the price is expensive or vehicles with performance high, "said by Jesse Toprak, Vice President of Industry Trends and Insights from TrueCar.com.
